APF Wins Women's Handball Title at Gandaki Cup National Championship
Pokhara, Nepal | The Armed Police Force (APF) Club has clinched the title of the Gandaki Cup National Women's Handball Championship, defeating Tribhuvan Army Club 31–17 in a departmental derby final held at the Handball Court of Pokhara Stadium.
This tournament is considered the largest national women’s handball event since the Ninth National Games, attracting top teams from across Nepal.
With the championship win, APF received NPR 100,000 in cash, along with a trophy, medals, and certificates. Runner-up Army Club walked away with NPR 50,000 in cash prizes.
Semifinals and Final Highlights:
The one-day final event on Saturday featured the semifinals, third-place match, and the championship final.

APF defeated Koshi Province with a commanding 23–2 victory in the semifinals.

Army beat Gandaki Province 21–12 to advance to the final.
In the third-place match, Koshi Province overcame Gandaki 11–5 to secure NPR 30,000, while Gandaki settled for the fourth position with an NPR 20,000 consolation prize.
