Kathmandu, August 13 – API School became the first team to secure a spot in the semifinals of the First RRA Running Shield Cricket Tournament, following a convincing 6-wicket win over Balkunj School on Wednesday.
The match, played at the Radiant Cricket Academy grounds in Sanepa, was a 10-over contest. Apex's Yugant Karki delivered a standout performance and was named Man of the Match.
Three more quarterfinals are scheduled, featuring:
DAV vs Mokshada
Gateway Academy vs LRI
Radiant Riders Academy 'A' (host) vs Bishwo Niketan
The tournament features 15 boys' teams, including two from the host academy. The competition is set to conclude on Thursday.
The winning team will receive NPR 30,000, while the runner-up will take home NPR 15,000 in cash prizes.
