Fakhar Zaman is named April's Player of the Month
Fakhar Zaman received the International Cricket Council (ICC) Player of the Month award for April in recognition of his exceptional performance in the ODI series against New Zealand.
Fakhar Zaman became the fourth Pakistani to achieve three straight century in an ODI after scoring two hundreds against New Zealand in the previous two games.
The left-handed opener earned a spot in the top 5 of the ODI Rankings after scoring 100 in the most recent ODI against New Zealand in January.
He wrote on Twitter that Mark Chapman should win because he scored a lot of runs against Pakistan.
Additionally, he thanked all of his fans and voters, saying that they were instrumental in his success in winning the prize.
