Biratnagar edge Dhangadhi, Police down Chandrapur
Kathmandu, Biratnagar Metropolitan City defeated Dhangadi sub-metropolitan city 1-0 and Nepal Police Club edged Chandrapur Municipality Rautahat 2-1 in the National Women's League 2078 on Wednesday.
Bipana Rai scored one minute from full time in Biratnagar's win.
Biratnagar are fifth on the table with 10 points from five games.
In the second game of the day, goals from Manisha Raut and Rekha Poudel helped Nepal Police to a 2-1 win over Chandrapur. Rojina Shrestha scored the goal for Chandrapur. Nepal Police are second while Chandrapur are seventh on the table.
