Kathmandu – The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia–EAP Qualifier to be held in Oman.

The squad sees Sandeep Lamichhane replace Sahab Alam, who played in Nepal’s recent Unity Cup series against West Indies.

Nepal will play its first match on 8 October 2025 against Kuwait and the second match on 10 October 2025 against Japan. Nepal is placed in Group B, alongside Kuwait and Japan.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Six stage. The three teams finishing at the top of the Super Six will qualify for the 2026 T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
