Kathmandu, The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the Nepal ‘A’ squad for the upcoming two-match One Day International (ODI) series against Oman.
The matches are scheduled to be held at the Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground on April 22 and April 24 (Baisakh 9 and 11). CAN confirmed the squad through an official press release issued on Tuesday.
The 14-member team will be led by Anil Kumar Sah. The selection panel and coaching staff have opted for a balanced combination of experienced and emerging players for the series. Key players in the squad include Dev Khanal, Kushal Malla, and Sundeep Jora, all of whom have been impressive in recent domestic and international performances.
Nepal ‘A’ Squad:
Anil Kumar Sah (Captain), Dev Khanal, Ishan Pandey, Sundeep Jora, Trit Raj Das, Kushal Malla, Santosh Yadav, Rashid Khan, Shahab Alam, Hemant Dhami, Rijan Dhakal, Aakash Chand, Yuvraj Khatri, and Sher Malla.
According to CAN spokesperson Chhumbi Lama, the series against Oman ‘A’ presents an important platform for young Nepali cricketers to showcase their talent and gain valuable match experience.
Both matches of the series will be played at the Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.
