CAN Announces Squads for Nepal Red vs. Nepal Blue ODI Series
KATHMANDU – The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially announced the player squads for the upcoming one-day series between Nepal Red and Nepal Blue. The series is scheduled to take place at the Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground.
According to a press release issued by CAN spokesperson Chhumbi Lama, the matches will be held on April 26, 28, and 30, 2026. Under the banner "Sports for Health, Sports for Nation," the association has selected 32 players divided into two competitive teams to showcase domestic talent.
Team Squads
Nepal Red: Led by captain Anil Kumar Sah, the Red team features a mix of explosive all-rounders and steady batsmen.
Squad: Anil Kumar Sah (C), Trit Raj Das, Deepak Prasad Dumre, Bibek Rana Magar, Ishan Pandey, Subh Kansakar, Kushal Malla, Rashid Khan, Shankar Rana, Hemant Dhami, Bishal Patel, Pratish GC, Sher Malla, Yuvraj Khatri, Sagar Dhakal, and Abhishek Gautam.
Nepal Blue: Dev Khanal will captain the Blue side, which includes several prominent names from the national circuit.
Squad: Dev Khanal (C), Mayan Yadav, Arjun Gharti Magar, Arjun Saud, Araniko Yadav, Sundeep Jora, Pawan Sarraf, Narayan Joshi, Santosh Yadav, Rijan Dhakal, Akash Chand, Rupesh Singh, Shahab Alam, Bipin Khatri, Prakash Jaisi, and Dipesh Kandel.
