Church Boys United will play Paro FC of Bhutan in the AFC Challenge League
Kathmandu, In August, the inaugural AFC Challenge League's preliminary round will take place, with League Champions Church Boys United facing Bhutan's Paro FC.
August 13 is the scheduled date of the single-leg knockout match. The victor of the match advances to the competition's group stage.
On October 26 and November 2, there will be home and away group stage matches. In the event that they qualify, the Church Boys will get at least $100,000 USD for the competition.
18 ambitious sides will compete for glory in the new third-tier Continental men's league, which the Asian Football Confederation announced on Thursday as part of the redesigned AFC Club Competitions framework.
