Harmeet Singh Rejoins Sudurpaschim Royals for Nepal Premier League Season 2

Kathmandu: Sudurpaschim Royals have signed USA bowling all-rounder Harmeet Singh as their third overseas player for the upcoming second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

This will mark Harmeet’s second consecutive season with the Royals. In the inaugural edition, he took 8 wickets in 5 matches and was noted as the most economical bowler of the tournament.

Expressing his excitement, Harmeet said,

“I’m thrilled to be back in the Nepal Premier League. There’s some unfinished business from last season, and I’m looking forward to completing it this time. Can’t wait to see all the supporters again.”

Sudurpaschim Royals CEO Prakash Khadka said Harmeet’s return will strengthen the squad even further.

“Harmeet’s inclusion makes our team even stronger. We expect him to deliver the same quality performance he showcased last season,” he remarked.

The 32-year-old left-arm spinner and left-handed batter has represented the United States in international cricket, taking 24 wickets in 25 T20Is and scoring 235 runs. In ODIs, he has claimed 31 wickets in 21 matches, along with 325 runs.

Harmeet was also a member of India’s U-19 World Cup-winning squad in 2012 and previously played for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
