Dubai (UAE) — Nepal gained a second crucial breakthrough in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 clash against the USA, as Sandeep Lamichhane dismissed in-form batter Shayan Jahangir.
The wicket came in the 11.5th over, when Jahangir was bowled by Lamichhane after scoring a fluent 36 runs off 42 balls, hitting five fours and one six.
Jahangir’s dismissal leaves USA struggling at 53/2, after a solid start provided by the openers.
Nepal’s bowlers, led by Gulshan Jha and Sandeep Lamichhane, are now tightening their grip on the match as they continue to build pressure in the middle overs.
