India defeats Nepal in women's volleyball at the 19th Asian Games
Kathmandu, India has defeated Nepal in the women's volleyball tournament under the 19th Asian Games (Asiad) underway in Hangzhou, China.
The Nepali women's team lost the match to India 1-3. Nepal faced a 23-25 defeat to India in the first set. It won the second set 26-28.
However, it faced drubbing in the subsequent two sets. Nepal scored 25-23 in the third set, and India got an easy victory of 25-17 in the fourth set. Nepal were defeated by Vietnam and South Korea in the group stage matches before this.
