Ireland defeated the Nepal 'A' team in the Twenty20 series.

Kathmandu, In the Twenty20 series, Lokesh Bam's brilliant batting effort did not save the Nepal 'A' squad from losing to Ireland's 'A' side by another 21 runs.

Nepal was unable to reach Ireland's set target of 223 runs in 19.3 overs, losing every wicket in the process.

For Nepal, Lokesh Bam scored a century. With nine fours and eight sixes off of 56 balls, he amassed 106 runs. Similarly, Asif Sheikh scored 49 runs off of 26 balls, including five sixes and one four.

Against Ireland, other Nepali batsmen were unable to deliver a noteworthy performance.

With one six, two fours, and sixteen runs, captain Binod Bhandari scored. After scoring three runs, Basir Ahmad was out. 

When it came to bowling, Mathu Foster claimed two wickets, Finn Hand and Mathew Humphreys of Ireland grabbed three apiece. Gavin Hoey and Tom Mayes each took one.

Ireland made 222 runs in the allotted overs at the expense of five wickets in the T-20 series, which was played today at Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur. Ireland was invited to bat first after losing the toss.

With four boundaries and three sixes, Peter Moor scored 49 off of 32 balls. With 38 runs, Cade and Captain Neil Rock contributed equally. With four boundaries and two sixes in 16 balls, Stephen Doheny scored 34 runs. Gareth Delany, meanwhile, amassed 30 runs without losing 14 balls while hitting two fours and three sixes. With two sixes, Gavin Hoey scored eighteen runs in just six balls.

For Nepal, Kamal Singh Aire claimed three wickets, while Arif Sheikh and Sagar Dhakal each claimed one wicket.
The 'A' teams of Nepal and Ireland will play their second encounter on Saturday.
