Japan's Eri Hozumi, Makoto Ninomiya Win Doubles of HRH Princess Lalla Meryem Grand Prix
Kathmandu, The Japanese Eri Hozumi and Makoto Ninomiya won, Friday, the 20th Grand Prix of HRH Princess Lalla Meryem of tennis in women's doubles, against the pair composed of the Russian Alexandra Panova and the Romanian Monica Niculescu 6-7 (7-9), 6-3, 10-8.
In the semifinals, the Japanese won against the Russian Ekaterina Yashina and the Mexican Marcela Zacarías (6-2,6-2), while Alexandra Panova and Monica Niculescu won against the pair composed of the British Emily Webley-Smith and the Brazilian Ingrid Gamarra Martins.
The singles final on Saturday will oppose Italy's Martina Trevisan against the American Claire Liu. Both players will try to register their respective countries in the list of winners of this international competition.
