Jayant Yadav and Navdeep Saini have been added to the ODI squad
Delhi, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that Jayant Yadav and pacer Navdeep Saini have been added to the One Day International (ODI) squad of the visitors on Wednesday.
With Team India spinner Washington Sundar testing positive for COVID-19 ahead of the white-ball series against the Proteas, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that the Rahul Dravid-coached side has altered their squad ahead of the next white-ball assignment in South Africa on Wednesday. The BCCI has confirmed that Indian spinner Jayant Yadav and pacer Navdeep Saini have been added to the One Day International (ODI) squad of the visitors.
The apex cricket board of India has revealed that spinner Washington has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series between India and hosts South Africa. All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked spinner Jayant as Sundar's replacement for the ODI series. The Indian selection committee has also added pacer Saini to the ODI squad as a backup for Mohammed Siraj. Pacer Siraj is still recovering from the hamstring injury that he sustained in the 2nd Test match between India and South Africa at Johannesburg.
