Junior Cricket League to Begin from Bhadra 3

Kathmandu, August 13 – The Junior Cricket League, organized by Angels Heart National School, is set to kick off on Bhadra 3 (August 19). The tournament aims to provide a competitive platform for young cricketers studying up to Grade 10.

According to Principal Tek Bahadur Thapa, the event will feature a maximum of 16 teams. The tournament is being managed by the Angels Sports Cricket Academy, and all matches will be held at the academy’s ground in Manmaiju.

Suman Timilsina, Head of the Sports Department at Angels Heart, stated that the league is specifically designed to promote grassroots cricket by engaging school-level players.

Tournament coordinator Kushal Khadka confirmed that the event will be conducted in a league-cum-knockout format, ensuring each team gets sufficient playing opportunities before the elimination rounds.

The tournament is expected to attract enthusiastic participation and foster young cricketing talent across the valley.
