Kabhresthali Taekwondo Dojang Crowned Team Champion in Tarkeshwar Mayor's Cup
Kathmandu, June 29, 2025 — Host team Kabhresthali Taekwondo Dojang has emerged as the team champion of the 5th Tarkeshwar Kathmandu District-Level Mayor Taekwondo Tournament.
Kabhresthali clinched the title with an impressive haul of 17 gold, 9 silver, and 16 bronze medals.
Nagarjun Valley School secured second position with 15 gold, 2 silver, and 8 bronze medals, while Balbalika School finished third, collecting 11 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze, according to Bikram Khadgi, President of the Kathmandu District Taekwondo Association.
The event showcased young talent from across the district and was a major highlight for grassroots taekwondo development in Kathmandu.
