KUWAIT CITY — The Kuwait Cricket Club (KCC) has officially unveiled its national women's squad for a jam-packed tour in Malaysia, which includes the highly anticipated ACC Women’s T20I Premier Cup 2026 and a two-match preparatory bilateral series against Myanmar.

The team will be flying out under the leadership of veteran captain Amna Sharif. With crucial regional spots on the line, the tour serves as a vital assignment for Kuwait as they aim to make a significant impact on the international stage.

Preparations and Strategy

Before kicking off their regional tournament campaign, the Kuwaiti women will lock horns with the Myanmar Women's National Cricket Team in a two-match T20I bilateral series. Team management has emphasised that these two matches will be crucial for head coach Kabir Khan and his staff to lock down their optimal playing XIs, test match fitness, and build squad chemistry under Malaysian conditions.

Kuwait has been placed in Group C for the ACC Women’s T20I Premier Cup. Their group stage journey features tough encounters against tournament hosts Malaysia, followed by fixtures against Indonesia and Singapore.
