Lalitpur Queens Reappoint Utsav Khadka as Head Coach Ahead of EWVL Season 2
Lalitpur, June 29, 2025 — As anticipation builds for the second edition of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League (EWVL), Lalitpur Queens have kicked off their preparations by reappointing Utsav Khadka as head coach for the upcoming season.
Coach Khadka, a native of Lalitpur and one of Nepal’s most respected volleyball tacticians, returns to the helm with a clear mission—to go one step further and bring the championship home. Under his guidance, Lalitpur Queens reached the final in Season 1 but narrowly missed out on the title.
Speaking at the official signing ceremony, Khadka expressed both gratitude and determination. “Our hearts broke after narrowly missing the title in the final last season. This time, we are committed to winning the tournament and healing those wounds,” he said. “I sincerely thank Lalitpur Queens for their continued trust in me. This season, we will bring the trophy home to our beautiful city, Lalitpur.”
Coach Khadka holds a prestigious FIVB Level 3 coaching certification and has built a reputation as one of Nepal’s most successful volleyball minds. His return signals serious intent from the Queens to dominate in Season 2.
The second edition of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League is scheduled to take place from September 5 to September 13, 2025. With Khadka back on the touchline, Lalitpur Queens are expected to be among the tournament’s strongest contenders.
