Earlier, the team had already announced their first international signing—Russian blocker Veronika Zubareva. With three foreign players now on board, the club is confident that their squad is significantly strengthened.

From the domestic circuit, Lumbini Lavas acquired several prominent players through the auction, including national team captain Aruna Shahi, along with Kamana Bista, Alisha Manandhar, Shantikala Tamang, Anusha Chaudhary, Roma Mahato, Janisa Bishwakarma, and Rikjana Majhi. Additionally, Janaki KC was scouted and signed through the team’s talent hunt program.

With a strong mix of national and international players, Lumbini Lavas aims to emerge as a dominant team in this season’s league. The club has also expressed its commitment to promoting women’s empowerment through sports and increasing the popularity of volleyball in Nepal.

The second season of the Vatsalya Everest Women’s Volleyball League, organized by Infinity Dreams Pvt. Ltd., will be held in Pokhara from Bhadra 20 to 28 (September 5–13, 2025). The tournament is expected to feature high-level competition and exciting matches throughout the weeklong event.
