Medal winning Kyokushin players are honored

Kathmandu, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward 17 honored the medal winners of the 18th men's weight group and the 17th women's open weight group full contact karate competition.

APF gold winner Anisa Tamang, silver winner Sumitra Nagarkoti, bronze winner Rina Majhi, and West fighter Kavita Muktan were honored with cash prizes of 10,000, 5,000, 2,500, and 1,500, respectively, in the women's competition organized by Nepal Kyokushin Karate Do Association Vajra.

Kathmandu Metropolitan spokesperson and 17th ward president Naveen Manandhar honored the players during a program. On the same occasion, a mat worth 5 lakh rupees was handed over to Simrik Yuva Kyokushin Karate Do Association Vajra. Spokesperson Manandhar handed over the mat to Simrik president Pushpaman Manandhar, who is also the vice president of Nepal Kyokushin Karate Do Association Vajra.
