National U-23 Football Team Coaching and Managerial Staff Appointed

Satdobato, Nepal — The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has officially announced the coaching and managerial appointments for the national U-23 football team ahead of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers.

Sachindra Dhimal has been appointed as the assistant coach, while Nabin Maharjan will take charge as the goalkeeping coach. Amrit Man Shrestha has been named the team manager. All three received their appointment letters from ANFA Acting General Secretary Damodar Bhattarai during a brief ceremony held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Thursday.

Earlier, on Wednesday, ANFA announced Nabin Neupane as the head coach of the U-23 team.

The national U-23 squad is preparing to compete in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers, scheduled from September 3 to 9 in Tajikistan. Nepal has been drawn into Group K alongside the host nation Tajikistan, Syria, and the Philippines.

These appointments mark a significant step in Nepal’s preparations for the important tournament, with the team aiming to make a strong impact on the continental stage.
