Nepal Announces Squad for Bangladesh Friendlies

KATHMANDU – Nepal's Head Coach Matt Ross has announced the 23-member national squad for the upcoming friendly matches against Bangladesh. The matches are scheduled to take place at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Bhadra 21 (September 6, 2025) and Bhadra 24 (September 9, 2025).
 
These fixtures fall within the FIFA International Window and are expected to be crucial preparation for Nepal's remaining matches in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers.
 
Goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong has been named the team captain. The squad includes a blend of experienced players and some newer faces. Some reports indicate that due to the Nepal U-23 side participating in the AFC U-23 Qualifiers in Tajikistan, several new players have been included in the senior squad.
