Nepal Announces Women’s Squad for Asian Games Qualifier and ACC Premier Cup
KATHMANDU – The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially announced the national women’s squad for the upcoming Asian Games Qualifier and the ACC Women’s Premier Cup.
The selection committee has maintained a balance between seasoned veterans and emerging young talents to represent the nation in these prestigious tournaments.
Leadership and Key Players
The team will be led by Indu Barma, who continues her role as captain. In a significant move, the responsibility of vice-captain has been handed to the promising youngster Puja Mahato. The squad also features iconic veterans Sita Rana Magar and Rubina Chhetri, whose experience is expected to be vital for Nepal's campaign.
