Nepal lost to Canada in the first warm-up match

Kathmandu, The Nepali national team, which reached the United States to play in the ICC T20 World Cup, has lost its first practice match.

Nepal lost the first warm-up match by 63 runs. Chasing a target of 184 runs at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Nepal was bowled out for 120 runs in 19.3 overs.

Kushal Malla scored 37 runs for Nepal. Dylan Heliger took four wickets against Nepal. Canada scored 183 runs for the loss of seven wickets at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

Nepal will now play against the USA in the second warm-up match tomorrow. The Cricket World Cup will be held in the United States and the West Indies on June 1.

Nepal is placed in Group D along with the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Bangladesh. Nepal will start their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on June 4.

Nepal will play their second group match against Sri Lanka on June 11, while they are scheduled to play their final group matches against South Africa on June 14 and Bangladesh on June 16.
