Nepal Police Club reached the PM Cup final
Kathmandu, On Friday, the men's and women's finals of the 7th PM Cup NVA National Club League 2080 were advanced by Nepal Police Club.
In the last league game of the women's league, Police outdueled New Diamond 25-20, 25-14, 25-17 over the course of three straight sets. Police maintained their perfect record and led the league standings after five games with 15 points.
APF Club and Police will compete in the final. APF has 11 points, which puts them in second place.
Police beat APF Club 3-0 to secure the top spot in the men's league. Police defeated APF with ease, winning 25-22, 25-13, and 25-15 to earn 15 points and go to the championship match in second place overall.
Tiptop By outlasting the Army's challenge 3-1, Help Nepal was able to set the final date with the Police. With a valiant victory over the Army, Help Nepal maintained its unbeatable status (29-27, 21-25, 25-22, 39-37). With this outcome, Help Nepal took the top spot in the standings with 16 points.
Army has 11 points and is in third place.
In the other women's match, Tribhuwan Army Club defeated Gandaki Province by scores of 25-18, 25-12, and 25-15 to earn eight points.
In the men's league, Gandaki Province defeated Dawanli Club by scores of 25-21, 25-15, and 25-16 to earn its second victory.
