Kushal Bhurtel’s Explosive Century Destroys China
After being put in to bat first, Nepal’s intent was clear from the very first ball. Opener Kushal Bhurtel led the destruction with a sensational, boundary-filled century. His explosive knock was studded with 5 boundaries and an incredible 16 towering sixes.
Complementing Bhurtel's onslaught, powerhouse Kushal Malla played a brilliant anchor-cum-aggressor role, remaining unbeaten on 85* off 47 balls, which included 8 fours and 5 sixes.
Rohit Paudel Finishes in Style
The final flourish came from the blade of Rohit Paudel. Coming in at the death, Paudel striking at a phenomenal rate, blazed his way to a rapid 69* off just 21 balls. His cameo included 5 fours and 7 sixes, ensuring Nepal capitalized completely on the momentum and finished past the 310-run mark.
China Bundled Out For 92 As Kushal Malla Shines With The Ball
Chasing a mountain of 314 runs, the Chinese batting lineup fell like a pack of cards under the extreme pressure of the scoreboard and Nepal’s disciplined bowling. China's innings never got going, and they were bowled out for a mere 92 runs in 19.2 overs.
While Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane scalped 2 wickets each, it was Kushal Malla who pulled off a magical spell after his batting heroics. Malla bowled 1.2 overs, gave away absolutely zero runs, and picked up 3 wickets (3/0) to wrap up the tail.
The 300-Club Elite
