Nepal takes on Yemen tomorrow in a World Cup qualifier
Kathmandu: Nepal is playing against Yemen tomorrow as part of the joint selection of the FIFA World Cup 2026 second round and the AFC Asia Cup 2027.
The match is being held at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar. It will start at 7:00 p.m.
Nepal is in Group H in the second round of the World Cup Asia Qualifiers. The UAE, Bahrain, and Yemen are the other three in the group. In the match held in Dubai on November 16, Nepal lost to the UAE by 0-4 goals.
In the FIFA rankings, Nepal is ranked 173rd, while Yemen is in the 156th position.
Earlier, Nepal defeated Laos in the first round of the World Cup qualifiers to qualify for the second round.
