Kathmandu – The Nepal women’s blind cricket team has departed for India to participate in the first-ever Women’s Blind T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
The tournament is set to begin on November 11 (Kartik 25), with teams from Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Australia, the United States, and England taking part.
Before their departure, the Nepali team was bid farewell and extended best wishes for success by Upendra Shrestha, president of the Bagmati Province Disabled Association, and Sugam Bhattarai, central general secretary of the National Disabled Federation of Nepal.
