Nepal Women Clinch T20I Series Against Malaysia with Dominant 7-Wicket Win
KATHMANDU, May 22 – The Nepal National Women’s Cricket Team extended their winning streak over Malaysia, securing a comfortable seven-wicket victory in the second T20 International match on Wednesday. With this dominant performance, Nepal has sealed the bilateral series 2-0.
Following a hard-fought victory in the opening match, the Nepali team showcased a much more clinical performance in the second encounter, wrapping up the series with a game to spare.
Smooth Chase for Nepal
Chasing a modest target of 83 runs set by Malaysia, Nepal comfortably reached 83/3 in 16 overs.

Samjhana Khadka anchored the innings brilliantly, remaining unbeaten on 39 runs off 37 balls.

Kabita Kunwar provided solid support at the other end, scoring an unbeaten 19 runs off 20 balls.

Soni Pakhrin chipped in with 12 runs before being dismissed.
For Malaysia, Nur Dania and Aisya Eleesa managed to pick up one wicket each, but they couldn't apply enough pressure to derail Nepal's chase.
Disciplined Bowling Display
Earlier in the day, Malaysia won the toss and elected to bat first. However, the Nepali bowling attack put on a disciplined display, restricting the hosts to a meagre 82/9 in their allotted 20 overs.
