Nepali Judo Referees to Attend International Seminar in Jordan
Kathmandu, August 13 – A three-member Nepali judo delegation is set to leave for Amman, Jordan, on Thursday to participate in an International Judo Refereeing Seminar and Examination, scheduled from August 15 to 19.
The delegation includes Radha Devi Rai, Ravi Chaudhary, and Kavita Pun, according to Deepak Harsha Bajracharya, president of the Nepal Judo Association.
The team was officially farewelled on Wednesday by Tankalal Ghising, Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council (NSC), during a brief ceremony. NSC member Prakash Kumar Kusari and other officials were also present at the event.
The seminar is expected to enhance the referees' technical knowledge and qualification, contributing to the development of judo officiating standards in Nepal.
