Kathmandu, Bagmati Province defeated Karnali Province by 7 wickets. Bagmati achieved the target by losing three wickets in 13 overs, chasing the target of 79 runs set by Karnali in the ongoing PM Cup match held on Monday.

Earlier, Karnali batted first at Mulpani Ground and was all out for just 78 runs in 24.2 overs. Arjun Gharti was the top scorer for Karnali with 23 runs, while Nischal Rawal scored 13 runs. Other Karnali batsmen could not score in double digits in this match.

Bagmati bowler Rijan Dhakal took five wickets in the process of destroying Karnali's batting line. Similarly, Krijan Gurung took two wickets, while Pratish GC, Surya Tamang, and Bipin Acharya took one wicket each.

With this win, Bagmati Province has eight points from six matches and has reached the top of the points table. Similarly, Karnali Province suffered its third defeat. Karnali is in seventh place with four points from five matches.
