Pokhara Ninjaz Sign Serbian Outside Hitter for 2nd Edition of Everest Women's Volleyball League
Kathmandu – Pokhara Ninjaz have signed Serbian outside hitter for the second edition of the Vatsalya Everest Women's Volleyball League (EWHL). The 31-year-old Serbian becomes the team’s first foreign player for this season.
Pokhara Ninjaz officially announced the signing of Kecman, who brings a wealth of international experience, having previously played in top-tier leagues across Turkey, France (both league and cup), Greece, Poland, the German Bundesliga, and Romania. A former player for Serbia’s U-20 and U-21 national teams, Kecman is expected to play a key role for the Ninjaz throughout the tournament.
The team expressed excitement over the signing, stating that Kecman will be instrumental in controlling matches and leading the team to victories. They are confident her experience and skills will significantly strengthen the squad.
Kecman, too, shared her enthusiasm about joining the league and representing Pokhara Ninjaz. She said she is thrilled to be part of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League and aims to make a meaningful contribution toward helping the team win the championship.
Organized by Infinity Dreams, the second edition of the Vatsalya Everest Women’s Volleyball League is scheduled to take place in Pokhara from September 5 to 13 (Bhadra 20 to 28).
