Police Club and Help Nepal kept up their successful campaign
Kathmandu, On Tuesday, the 7th PM Cup NVA National Volleyball Club League saw the continuation of the winning streaks of Nepal Police Club and Tiptop Help Nepal.
In the men's league, Police defeated Dawanli Milan Club 25-21, 25-19, and 25-17 to earn their third victory. Eight points were piled up by the Police. Police and the province of Gandaki traded points.
For their third consecutive victory, Help Nepal outlasted Gandaki in a straight three-set match by scores of 25-22, 25-17, and 28-26. There are currently nine points available for Help Nepal.
Gandaki is almost out of the title race after four straight losses. Gandaki has only made one argument. In their previous three games, Gandaki lost to the Police, APF Club, and Army.
With nine points, Army is in first place. With equal nine points, Help Nepal and APF Club are in third and second place, respectively. APF defeated Sailung Bagdhunga 3-0 to maintain the possibility of success.
However, APF had to battle against Sailung to win by scores of 26-24, 25-15, and 28-26 in the men's final match on Tuesday.
While Dawanli and Sailung remain winless in the men's league, Police is in fourth place.
APF easily defeated Everest Volleyball Club in the women's division 25-9, 25-12, 25-11 to get eight points from three games.
Army was defeated by New Diamond 3-2 after a thrilling five-set encounter. Army won the third and fourth sets after New Diamond lost the first two sets to them by the scores of 25-15 and 25-21. However, New Diamond handily won the fifth set by a score of 15-9 to collect two points. Army nevertheless earned one point in spite of the defeat. Army has two arguments available.
