Rahul Biswakarma Finishes 46th in Bengaluru Golf Championship
KATHMANDU: Nepal’s second-ranked amateur golfer, Rahul Biswakarma, secured the 46th position at the IGU Bio-Gen Southern India Amateur Golf Championship held at the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) Course in Bengaluru.
Over the four-day tournament, Rahul carded rounds of 75, 77, 79, and 75, finishing with a total score of 18-over 306. The championship title was claimed by India’s Anshul Sharma, who won in a playoff against Pratish Singh Karayat, after both ended the tournament tied at 12-under 276. Ishaan Chawhan finished third at 11-under.
Rahul participated in the event after completing a two-month intensive training program at the Tarun Sardesai Golf Academy, supported by the Nepal Golf Association.
His next challenge will be the 134th CEAT Sri Lanka Amateur Open Golf Championship, scheduled from September 23 to 28 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
