Safeguarding Workshop Held for ANFA U-16 Youth League Clubs
Satdobato, Lalitpur — A Safeguarding Workshop was successfully conducted today at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato for clubs participating in the ANFA U-16 Youth League. The workshop aimed to ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for young players involved in youth football across Nepal.
Representatives from participating clubs were briefed on essential safeguarding topics such as child protection policies, identifying and preventing abuse, roles and responsibilities of coaches and team officials, and promoting a respectful and inclusive football culture.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) emphasized the importance of creating a protective atmosphere where young athletes can thrive and develop their talents without fear or discrimination.
With the U-16 Youth League playing a crucial role in grooming the next generation of national players, ANFA reiterated its commitment to organizing similar educational and safeguarding initiatives in the future.
