Kathmandu, In the Martyr's Memorial A Division League 2023 on Sunday, Machhindra Football Club defeated APF Football Club 2-1.
Machhindra won the game at Dasharath Stadium by coming from behind.
Before Omolaja Nurain Kareem tied the score just before halftime, APF had seized the lead in the game thanks to Armand Beadoum.
Then, Afeez Olawale Oladipo scored a miraculous goal to give Machhindra the victory.
In the other match at the ANFA Complex, Sankata Club tied Tribhuvan Army Football Club 1-1 with a late penalty goal.
Army took the lead in the 18th minute on Bharat Khawas' maiden league goal. Before giving up a last-second penalty in the game's extra time, Army appeared to have the victory locked up. Stepping up, Youssef Atriss scored from the penalty spot to tie the game for Sankata.
