Sport strengthens people to people relations, Dahal says
Kathmandu, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that sport is a medium to strengthen people to people relations in the society.
Inaugurating the Asia Rugby Under-18 at Dasharath Stadium today, the former Prime Minister said that sport has a vital role in promoting national economy and deepening fraternity at the international level.
Organizing such event in Nepal would ensure development of the country’s sports sector, he added.
In the tournament, eight teams of men and five of women are participating from eight different Asian countries.
