Kathmandu: Sporting Ilam defeated Jhapa FC in the Nepal Super League (NSL).

Ilam defeated Jhapa 1-0 in the match held at Dasharath Stadium on Monday.

In the 87th minute of the match, Amath Andav scored the decisive goal of the match for Sporting Ilam. Amath had earlier missed a penalty in the same match.

This is Ilam's first win in the second match. Earlier, Ilam had lost 1-0 to Kathmandu Rangers in the first match. Similarly, Jhapa has lost its first match.

Kathmandu Rangers and FC Chitwan are scheduled to play in the NSL on Tuesday.
