Srinivasan has been appointed fielding consultant coach of the Nepalese cricket team.
Kathmandu, Indian high performance coach Raghuram Srinivasan has been appointed as the fielding consultant coach of the Nepalese cricket team.
According to the Nepal Cricket Association, he arrived in Nepal on Sunday to command a camp close to the Nepal team.
Srinivas, who has done Cricket Australia’s High Performance (Level 3) course, has previously worked with the US cricket team. Nepal’s head coach Pubudu Dasnayake was previously the head coach of the United States and Srinivas was the fielding coach.
Trainer Dasnayake has expressed happiness on Srinivas’s arrival in Nepal. “Instructor Raghu worked with me when I was in the United States,” he said. He is a very energetic fielding coach. Who will work on any weak side of Nepal? I am grateful that you came to give me your valuable time, even in a small invitation.’
Nepal is playing the T20 World Cup Global Qualifiers in Oman since February 17. Before this, four national T20 series are being played from 11 February.
