Thai Volleyball Star Darin Pinsuwan Joins Lalitpur Queens for Everest Women's Volleyball League
Lalitpur, Nepal — Thai national women’s volleyball team outside hitter Darin Pinsuwan has officially signed with Lalitpur Queens as their third foreign player for the upcoming Everest Women’s Volleyball League 2025, set to begin next week in Pokhara.
The club announced Darin's signing through its official social media platforms on Sunday, confirming the addition of yet another experienced international player to its roster. Lalitpur Queens had earlier signed fellow Thai players Warinya Srilaoong and Patrathip Santrakul.
A Decorated International Star
The 30-year-old Darin brings a wealth of international experience, having represented Thailand in major tournaments, including matches against South Korea and Chinese Taipei. Notably, she was part of the Thai national team that won a bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea.
Darin expressed her enthusiasm about competing in Nepal, stating that she had followed last season’s Everest League closely due to her friends’ participation and is already familiar with its format. A multi-title winner across various international leagues, she now has her sights set on winning the championship in Nepal.
Strong Team Under Experienced Leadership
The Lalitpur Queens squad will be led by one of Nepal’s most successful volleyball coaches, Utsav Khadka, with Salina Shrestha serving as the team’s marquee player and captain. The team also includes players acquired during the auction, such as Sangam Mahato, Laxmi Chand, Sunita Rai, Salina Budha Magar, Nisha Chaudhary, Sristi Khadgi, and Bhavana Dangi.
Adding to their momentum, Lalitpur Queens have appointed three-time South Asian Games gold medalist Ayasha Shakya as their Goodwill Ambassador, further strengthening the club’s identity and outreach.

The second edition of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League is scheduled to take place from September 5 to 13, 2025 (Bhadra 20 to 28), promising a thrilling display of both national and international volleyball talent in Nepal.
With the arrival of a seasoned international like Darin Pinsuwan, Lalitpur Queens is poised to be a strong contender for this season’s title.
