the appointment of Shrestha and Silakar as U-19 and U-16 coaches
Kathmandu, Sunil Shrestha and Rabindra Silakar have been named head coaches of the U-19 and U-16 national teams, respectively, by the Nepal Football Association.
In the Martyr's Memorial A Division League 2023, Shrestha and Silakar served as the head coaches of Jawalakhel Youth Club and Sankata Club, respectively.
The two coaches received their employment letters from ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai on Monday.
Ganga Ram Deuja will be the goalie coach for the U-16 team, and Sitaram Ghimire will be the assistant coach.
The U-19 national team has proposed Sachindra Dhimal and Raju Singh as assistant coaches and goalkeeping coaches, respectively. The responsibilities of team manager for the U-19 team have been given to Diwakar Ghale.
The 2018 SAFF U-19 Championship will take place in Kathmandu from September 21–30 under the direction of Shrestha, while Silakar will serve as the U-16 team's captain in Bhutan from September 1–10 for the SAFF U-16 Championship.
