The Dovan Cup was won by Janapriya Secondary School
Beni, The inter-school ladies football competition for the second Dovan Cup was won by Janapriya Secondary School.
After the game ended in a scoreless draw, Janapriya Mavi won the penalty shootout 4-2 over New West Point Residential Secondary School.
The New Dovan Youth Club organised the "9 a side" football competition in honour of Ananta Giri, a previous club president who passed away. Along with trophies, medals, and certificates, the winner and second-place teams in the competition received awards of Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 25,000, respectively.
The competition was set up to introduce female students to the game of football, according to Upendra Giri, head of the Dovan Youth Club. Ten teams in total took part in the competition.
