Two Matches Scheduled in Nepal Premier League Today

Kathmandu – Two matches are set to take place on Tuesday under the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). After a rest day on Monday with no fixtures, the tournament resumes today with two important clashes.

In the first match of the day, Janakpur will face Chitwan, with the game scheduled to begin at 11:45 AM. The second match will see Pokhara take on Karnali at 4:00 PM.

Defending champions Janakpur are still struggling to open their account this season. Winless in four matches, Janakpur are desperate for a victory. Chitwan, who have collected four points so far, will be aiming for a win that would strengthen their bid for a playoff spot.

In the second match, Pokhara and Karnali Yaks will battle it out. Both teams have had a difficult campaign, with only two points each. Karnali has already played five matches, while Pokhara has featured in four.

After 19 matches, the points table has taken an interesting shape. Sudurpashchim, unbeaten so far, has already secured a playoff berth with 10 points. Kathmandu, with one match left to play, has collected 8 points despite losing two games. Biratnagar also sits on 8 points, having lost only one of their five matches.
