Kathmandu, Nepal will be represented by two female athletes at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix – 17, which began on February 5 and will continue until February 17.
Srishti Dhewaju will compete in the 100m and 200m sprint events, while Prabha Angdembe will take part in the 400m race and long jump.
The Nepali contingent is being coached by Bimala Rana Magar, with Syangu Bhote serving as the team official. Athlete Prabha is scheduled to depart for Dubai on Monday, while the rest of the team will leave on Sunday.
The team was formally sent off on Friday during a brief ceremony by National Sports Council Member-Secretary Ramcharitra Mehta, who wished the athletes success in the international competition.
