Two Super Eight Matches Scheduled Today at ICC Men’s T20 World Cup

Kathmandu – Two Super Eight matches are set to take place today in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

In the first match on Sunday, Sri Lanka will face England. England advanced to the Super Eight from Group C with three wins and one loss, while Sri Lanka qualified from Group B with the same record of three victories and one defeat. Both teams finished as group runners-up. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:15 PM.

The Super Eight stage of the tournament began on Saturday. From the 20 participating nations, hosts India and Sri Lanka, along with Zimbabwe, West Indies, South Africa, Pakistan, England, and New Zealand, progressed to the Super Eight.

In the Super Eight stage, Group 1 consists of India, South Africa, West Indies, and Zimbabwe, while Group 2 features England, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

In the second match on Sunday, defending champions India will take on runners-up South Africa. The clash, to be held in India, is scheduled to start at 7:15 PM. India topped Group A, while South Africa were Group D winners. Both teams remained unbeaten during the group stage of the World Cup.
