
Volleyball competition to commemorate the Teej festival
Kaski, A national men's and women's volleyball competition will be conducted at Lamachaur in Pokhara on the occasion of Haritalika Teej.
The volleyball competition is being put on by the Navaadarsa Community Development Society in conjunction with the Teej festival festivities. From September 16 to September 18, a volleyball competition will take place on the grounds of Indrarajya Lakshmi Secondary School in Lamachaur.
The volleyball event will feature four women's teams and five men's teams, according to Swagatsingh Bhandari, president of the society.
APF Club, Nepal Police Club, New Diamond Youth Sports Club, Manimukunda Volleyball Club Butwal, Galkot Sports Club Baglung, and Gandaki are among the participants.
The winner, runner-up and third place teams in the volleyball competition will receive Rs 150,111, Rs 100,111 and Rs 50,111 respectively. Inter-school level folk dance competition and inter-female group open Teej song competition are other attractions of the festival.
