With a win, the Police, Army, and AFP begin the Volleyball Club League

Kathmandu, On Saturday in Kathmandu, the Nepal Police Club, Tribhuwan Army Club, and APF Club all got off to a good start in the 7th NVA National Volleyball Club League 2080.

In the men's division, police found it difficult to defeat foreign players who dominated Gandaki Province Volleyball Club 3-2.

Police won the first two games, 25-21 and 25-16, respectively. Gandaki recovered to win the third set by a score of 25-13. Police lost the fourth set to Gandaki by a score of 24-26 after blowing a six-point advantage. Police maintained their composure to win the fifth set by a score of 15-10 and score the first two points.

Sailung Baghdhunga Sports Club was easily defeated by Army in a straight-set victory of 25-8, 25-13, and 25-17. Army received three league points for the easy victory.

Similar to that, APF gained three points by defeating Dawanli Milan Club in a straight-up, three-set triumph. Dawanli was defeated by APF 25-22, 25-13, 25-23.

Police defeated Gandaki 25-10, 25-10, 25-11 in the women's division to collect three points.

The league champion will earn a seat in the December CAVA Club League Championship, which will take place in Nepal. The winning prize for both the men's and women's divisions is Rs. 600,000.
