Young Hearts awarded the Sun Shine Cup Karate title

Kathmandu, The Inter School Wado Ryu Karate Sun Shine Cup was won by the Young Hearts School Jorpati in the contest. 350 players from 15 schools across the valley attended the competition, which was held on Saturday.

Eleven gold, five silver, and seven bronze medals were won by Young Hearts. Mothers International School won four silver medals, three bronze medals, and eight gold awards. Three gold medals, three silver medals, and four bronze medals were won by Nav Dixit Pathshala.

First place was won by Main Dojo Chakrapath in the area of disciplined teams.

Male athlete No. 1 was selected as Sameer Lama of Young Hearts. Among women, Ranjana Chamling won.

Both Global Vision's Roshan Lama and Everest School's Pratharna Bajracharya were successful in winning the title of Rising Player.

Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Rajendra Prasad Shrestha presided over the tournament's opening ceremony, and Vice President of the National Sports Council Shiv Koirala was the main guest during the awards presentation.

The winning players and team were made by senior vice president of Nepal Karate Federation and chief trainer of Wado Ryu Karate Harisharan KC along with school principal Baburam Gautam followed by vice president of Wado Ryur Karate Do Association Yadav Lal Shrestha, general secretary Pratishka Shrestha, treasurer Pursotam Pokhrel, senior karate trainer Surya Rai, central member Lakshmi Rizal Sharma and others.
