ICC WCL-2: UAE Announce Squad for Tri-Nation Series Against Nepal and USA

Kathmandu: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 (WCL-2) Tri-Nation Series, which will feature UAE, Nepal, and the United States of America (USA).

The home side will be led by Rahul Chopra, who will also serve as the team’s wicketkeeper.

The announced squad includes:
Rahul Chopra (captain & wicketkeeper), Alishan Sharafu, Aryansh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Dhruv Parashar, Haider Ali, Harshit Kaushik, Junaid Siddique, Mayank Kumar, Muhammad Arfan, Muhammad Shahdad, Muhammad Waseem, Muhammad Rohid Khan, Shoaib Khan, Simranjeet Singh, and Zahid Ali.

The tri-series is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates in October and November 2025, with all matches being played as One Day Internationals (ODIs) under the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 pathway.

The tournament will be crucial for all three teams as they look to collect valuable points in the League 2 standings, which form part of the qualification process for the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup.
