Nepal 'A' Team Departs for Assam After Grand Farewell in Kakarvitta

Kakarvitta, August 26 – The Nepal national cricket 'A' team was given a grand farewell in Kakarvitta on Sunday before departing for Assam, India. The send-off ceremony was jointly organized by the Koshi Provincial Cricket Association, Jhapa District Cricket Association, and Bhadrapur Cricket Club.

Under the captaincy of wicketkeeper-batter Anil Sah, Nepal 'A' has travelled to Guwahati to play a five-match T20 series against the Assam State Team, scheduled from August 26 to September 2, 2025 (Bhadra 10 to 18, 2082 BS).

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) earlier announced a 16-member squad for the series, featuring a blend of youth and experience. Anil Sah, who has previously represented the senior national team, will lead the side.
